Horseradish

Horseradish is very easy to grow. Simply plant in a large pot, tip plant out and take a piece of root as required, then replant. Thrives in sun or part shade in ordinary soil. Leaves go dormant in winter but roots can be harvested all year round. Height 3ft spread 2ft. Spreads further if planted in the ground.
