Hightly scented bicoloured lavender and violet flowers in early summer. Bears one of the longest racemes of any Japanese Wisteria, up to 50cm long [1.5ft]. Just fabulous. Grow in sun or slight shade in ordinary soil. Prune in January & again in July [RHS Website for details]. Height up to 8m [26ft] spread 4m [13ft].
